Festival of Fantastic Films book launch

The Festival of Fantastic Films in Manchester have announced the full line up of guests, film screenings and events taking place between Friday 20th October and Sunday 22nd October. 

The Book of Beasts will be launched on Sunday with screenings of the episodes Baby and During Barty's Party. Jane Wymark will be attending the screenings and will be interviewed on stage beforehand. There will also be a panel discussion about the series involving Jane, myself and some very special guests. Click on the image below for details of all three days.

The Book of Beasts to launch at the Festival of Fantastic Films

The Book of Beasts will be officially launched on Sunday 22nd October, 2023 at the Festival of Film in Manchester. Based at the Pendulum Hotel in the city centre the festival has partnered with the publishers Headpress and will include a special panel discussion on Nigel Kneale’s 1976 folk horror anthology series, and episode screenings on the big screen. I will be present and part of the panel discussion and I will also be signing books on sale at the Headpress store at the venue.

The really exciting news is that the festival has managed to persuade Jane Wymark (Jo in the Beasts episode Baby) to also attend and be on the panel. I am absolutely delighted by this and incredibly excited.
