Jane Williams (Customer in Special Offer)

Biographical and career details are scarce for Jane Williams. She was born in Oldham as Jane Valerie Williams on 11th November 1939 and appeared in Two Plays written by Alan Pearce and performed at the Little Theatre Club during September 1968. The second of the single act plays, 'This and That', featured Williams in the cast as Mrs Burns. This was followed by playing Gladys Wurtzer in horror comedy farce Look Out, It’s Behind You presented at the Little Theatre Club in London during November 1968. At the same venue this was followed by a production of the Raymond Bantock play The Love of Four Women during December 1968. She was a cast member of the lunchtime performance of Jean Cocteau’s Duet for One Voice at the Act Inn during August 1973. The performance was produced by the theatre company Recreation Ground.
 
Her television roles are sparse. She often appeared in small supporting roles which included the ATV single drama Death of an Informer (17th February 1976) which dramatized the real life murder of Kenneth London in 1974. Williams played a solicitor’s clerk. She was cast as Louise in the Thriller story 'Sleepwalker' (10th April 1976) prior to her appearance in 'Special Offer'. Her final television appearance was as Linda in the first episode of the comedy series Pictures (11th February 1983).

Williams passed away on 17th January, 2015 in Wimbledon aged 75.
